I found Nightingale last September when I was looking for a new nursery for my 3 year old, nearer to home. It is a lovely place! All of the staff are exceptional - really friendly, the children love them all, so caring and very responsible. Each one can tell you exactly what your daughter has been up to, the whole day, which makes me think they all participate really fully in each child's needs and development. They are very clean, prepare great food (home made cup cakes sometimes!), and spend as much time outside with the children as possible - which again, I love, as I think it makes them really healthy. Would not fault it, and would recommend to anyone - especially now my younger, 2 year old daughter has also just started there and she loves it already too!
Both my children have been thought Nightingale Nursery. Peggy and Jenny (the mum and daughter who run it) are fantastic. As soon as you enter you feel the relaxed calm environment in which both my children flourished. My wife and myself have been very happy. Charlie

Gainsborough is a brilliant little community preschool. Moments from North Finchley it is absolutely perfect for me. Timing wise, the sessions suit so well. With the 9.15am start, I can do the school run first to Moss Hall and then drop off my little one to Gainsborough. Also, the 12.15pm finish means he is tired and ready for lunch when I* collect him. I don't like the thought of him eating or napping outside the house so it works perfectly for me to collect him, feed him lunch and then put him to sleep until school pick up. Essentially, it is everything I need and I don't pay for more time than I use, which I was doing at his previous nursery. Not to mention, the staff are brilliant - slightly older then the staff at other nurseries and mostly parents themselves which gives them real compassion and connection with the children. They have always dealt with any incidents professionally, discreetly and sensitively. They almost always have room so you are spared the stress of waiting lists - although I can't see this lasting for too long so get in quick before everyone else finds them too! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely love Frith Manor Nursery – it is very warm, friendly, safe and welcoming. The children seem very relaxed and at home. The staff are wonderful and very helpful, my son loves them all which makes me very comfortable leaving him there. There is always a pleasant atmosphere and lots of activities going on for him to participate in and parents are always kept updated and involved in their child's development. Our son has come on leaps and bounds since attending Frith Manor Nursery. The teachers are very professional, informative and caring I would definitely recommend Frith Manor Nursery to all our friends and family! Thank you to all the nursery team.

As a pupil from Reception to Year 4 I loved the school. It was a slow start as I was very shy but once I made friends my popularity grew with kids and teachers and my real personality was shown. Once moved to Berkshire I never regretted moving for a solid two years. Now entering senior school with the teachers not as homely and friends being a lot more snakes as you would find elsewhere I would 100% recommend the school
