Hotels Barnet

Travelodge London Whetstone

1446 High Rd, London N20 9BS, UK – 0871 984 6260

Comfortable pristine clean rooms... staff couldn't be more pleasant. All you can eat delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Good breakfast easy to find and only 40 minutes from all the action 5 stars for the money

Ramada London Finchley

3 Leisure Way, London N12 0QZ, UK – 020 8446 6644

The rooms are clean and well decorated. The staff have a smile for you and are very helpful. The bar/restaurant area is good and very cool in the current heatwave. Breakfast is good.

The hotel rooms are a bit worn, and pretty basic. The staff was not rude, but they were not very kind either. I would say that, if the location suits you, then choosing this hotel would be ok. Otherwise, there are better hotels for a better price closer to the city center.

Glenlyn Hotel

6 Woodside Park Rd, London N12 8RP, UK – 020 8445 0440

Excellent hotel. Room good size, food great, venue perfect with free parking and easy access to tube

Very helpful staff and amazing service. 10/10 would recommend.

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

Barnet Pubs, Gastro Pubs and Bars

The Cock Inn

Chalk Ln, London, Barnet EN4 9HU, UK – 020 8449 7160

Great trendy place quick drink or a meal. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Lovely back ample garden - a proper sun trap.

Lovely location and pretty garden - but the Sunday lunch was underwhelming with no fresh veg and it was pricey for what it was.....and there was only one beer on tap on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were not very helpful at all and looked miserable, such a shame as it is a popular end point for dog walkers. Could do better.

The Orange Tree

7 Totteridge Village, Totteridge, London N20 8NX, UK – 020 8343 7031

Very cosy place, nice selection of wine, I would recommend the scallops as a starter and for the main the sea bass is delicious. Great selection of desserts to finish the evening off as well. Overall experience inside positive, the staff where accommodating and friendly. Would advise to book a table in advance during the busier periods. Parking is available just outside of the pub. The surrounding small lakes and greenery make it a very nice atmosphere and I would recommend to friends and family.

It was Father's day when I visited so the place was crowded. However, from what I heard it is almost like this all the time. And to be honest tgere is reason for this. The food is really great . I tasted something called Trio of roasted meet. It was delicious. My spouse ordered soup of the day ... well this was kind of disappointing. But I don't think we have tasted a good soup in UK. So this was not unexpected. There is also garden where you can sit and a small lake next to it. Lovely place! Definitely worth the time.

The New Crown

80-84 Chase Side, London N14 5PH, UK – 020 8882 8758

Nice place to mix in with football fans for the England games, only bad point is maybe the tv screen should be slighter bigger so fans can see the game properly. Football and drinks got delivered to our table quick and the food was good. 5☆

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation plus Guesthouses

Chumleigh Lodge Hotel

Great place! Cozy, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful people. The location is also very good, only a 5 minute walk to lots of eating places and stores.

Weavers Bed and Breakfast

Greenhill Parade, 26-27 Great N Rd, New Barnet, Barnet EN5 1EU, UK – 07956 591702

This is a great guest house in Barnet, North London, handy for the tourist spots of London as there is a Tube station a short walk away. The hotel was clean and the food was great. The owner was kindness herself and made us feel at home, advising us what to visit and how to get there. We will return. Paul Davies

Really good and clean bad and breakfast.

Bay Tree House

59 Brookdale, New Southgate, London N11 1BS, UK – 020 8351 2836

I recently stayed at this very quaint Bed and Breakfast for work and found it to be lovely. Initially I was concerned as it seems quite far from London (it is a beautiful residential neighbourhood in North London) however, the tube is a 5 min walk and takes you directly into London - I got to London to Russell Square in 20 minutes - straight line, no changing. The room was large and very comfortable, extremely clean. There is a lovely room to have breakfast and chat with the other guests. Jasmine the owner made a delicious breakfast and was most helpful with any questions. She truly wants you to enjoy your stay with her as she engaged with all of us. The house has a small number of rooms so it was very quiet and the house is very bright and relaxing. Most guests left after breakfast and were gone into the city for most of the day. There is a lovely garden to sit in at the end of a long day. At the end of the street, there are a few pubs to eat in, and a small bakery should you need any treats. Would highly recommend to any traveller looking for a quieter spot to stay yet needing easy and quick access to downtown London. Would definitely come back!

The house itself is beautiful and has a great backyard area. The whole place was very homey and welcoming, but still allowed for privacy. The room was excellent, had a great view, and a really comfortable bed. Couldn't have asked for more :)

The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

One of the most surprising places I've ever been to in the sprawl of a housing estate directly in the middle is this amazing piece of heaven it's surprisingly quiet tranquil at times well equipped and just a fantastic area to visit

Great place to camp in London, realtivly large amount of space (For London). Excellent position right outside bounds green on the picadilly line.
